We're expecting you at Moe Bar on June 2nd to celebrate the release of Dark Signals (Remixed), the newest installment of Scientific American's mass.dstrction and AMS's 'Music I Like'. The evening features a live dsctrction mix from SCNTFC, the elusive Turk co-op under 'Lowly Productions' and AMS. All of the sets will be available at Samurai.FM.
Look for the above mentioned released at finer digital distributors soon!

Turk and his crew have moved the party over to the Chop Suey (Sea) for this version of Still Ill. They're bringing Andy Pry (Throne of Blood) to break it down for you all. Turk demanded you all show up, we think you should listen.
"Before King Cobra shut its doors last month, the club hosted a brief but successful run of Still Ill. Hosted by DJs Paco, Colby B, and Turk (veterans of Hot Mess, the McLeod Residence, and more), the monthly night featured an indie-kid-friendly collection of rock remixes, party rap, house, techno, and all other manner of Hype Machine–approved "bangers"—not to mention a great crowd. Still Ill is moving to Chop Suey, kicking things off with East Coast DJ Andy Pry from the Rapture's Throne of Blood label. It'll be like Club Pop, only with drinks on the dance floor and no bands or teenagers." - The Stranger Suggests
It's been nonstop over here in the mass offices. Sleepy Eyes of Death is taking over.
Digital fans! Dark Signals bleeds across the net to all of your favorite digital locations. Grab the Itunes release here: .
This itunes release includes all of the artwork from the CD edition.
As the street date for the physical edition of Dark Signals draws near we've been gathering remixes from friends. Our recent rotation includes choice remixes from Hanssen & Pezzner, Kreeps, nd_baumecker and more on the way. You'll be able to find these as digital singles and snuck inside some DJ sets. Keep checking back, we'll have dates and samples soon. PS. You know who you are, finish that mix!

Fans of broken eardrums, John Carpenter and vintage arps rejoice. Sleepy Eyes of Death's EP 'Dark Signals' is almost upon you. Recorded by Sleepy Eyes and Matt Bayles (Isis, Mastodon). In collaboration with Sleep Capsule, we strongly encourage you to get a new set of speakers just in case.

Time Promises Power tells us it's snowing in New Orleans today. Once in a decade for sure.
If you're around Seattle on 12/12/08 head over to the Free Sheep Foundation. FCS is coming out of a 9 month hibernation with new music. Also on the bill is the much respected Foscil, Specs One and Scratchmaster Joe. This event is _free_ & _all ages_. Rare and your presence is requested!
Get destrctd. Scientific American is currently auctioning off his remix skills for a very worthy cause (Children, Treehouse). Head over to The Stranger's Strangercrombie and get in on it.
We're looking forward to be working with Sleepy Eyes of Death on their new EP 'Dark Signals' in 2009. In collab with Sleep Capsule, Dark Signals will launch at retailers March/10 09 (digital earlier, on a TBA date). Look for more news on the remix side of SEOD ... we have some great mixes lined up to go with the release. Check out more Sleepy Eyes. The record is crazy. Nonstop in the offices.
Please visit samurai.fm for the newest radio show featuring Berlin's finest, ND_Baumecker. ND plays for three solid hours with only vinyl (yes 100%) and coffee. A must listen, we don't even have a track list to share ... that's how good it is.
Summer is synonymous with long, good mixes. To encourage the warm weather, a few of the mvmnt's friends have put together some of their favorite tracks. Enjoy.
First, Jerry Abstract brought us one of his legendary sets from fave night 'Broken Disco'. Check out this mix here.
Next, impress your friends with Andrew Luck's mix. Always doing his best to flip it around, do not miss him or his crew from Street Ritual. You'll find Luck's mix here.
Also, you'll find a new mix from Riow over at samurai.fm. A recent visit to AMS & Mugfrosty's house found them laying some turntables over Riow's followup to Electric Emerald (due in the future on Libyus). Worthy new sounds.
We see spring on the horizon .... as the snow thaws, the mvmnt starts getting packages in the mail.
scientific american has launched the 5th edition of his epic mix series mass.dstrction over at samurai.fm. While at mass.dstrction's core is the desire to simply deliver an entertaining listen, mass.dstrction goes much deeper...digging into the concepts of copyright, authorship, ownership, the artistic relevence of dj skills and mixing...all of which can be distilled to one simple question: "who owns sound?". We encourage a listen to previous editions of this beautiful series ... after that head over to samurai.fm for the newest!
News.
- We have new mass.mixes arriving from Riow Arai, Jerry Abstract and Andrew Luck. Amazing, we're glad to have them on board.
- While waiting for the new FCS LP to be delivered we're prepping an updated release of their ARC EP. This version will include remixes from fucking in the streets and recent mass collaborator Turk Deafeans (among others).
- Threats of scientific american and time promises power records are on the horizon.
