scientific american has launched the 5th edition of his epic mix series mass.dstrction over at samurai.fm. While at mass.dstrction's core is the desire to simply deliver an entertaining listen, mass.dstrction goes much deeper...digging into the concepts of copyright, authorship, ownership, the artistic relevence of dj skills and mixing...all of which can be distilled to one simple question: "who owns sound?". - We have new mass.mixes arriving from Riow Arai, Jerry Abstract and Andrew Luck. Amazing, we're glad to have them on board.
- While waiting for the new FCS LP to be delivered we're prepping an updated release of their ARC EP. This version will include remixes from fucking in the streets and recent mass collaborator Turk Deafeans (among others).

It was one of those 'you have to do this non' moments. A few steps into his studio, and you just have to know what all the masters on the wall are to. So Non hosted and put together an amazing mix of projects present past and future.

We're happy to announce the debut of mass.mvmnt radio over at samurai.fm. As avid listeners of the UK/JP based station, we were honored with an invite to contribute regularly to the samurai community.
For the first installment, we asked long-time friends and production partners Scientific American and FCS North to represent the mvmnt. There's much beauty in hearing them cross genres and share some recent findings from their record bags. The result is a mass.dstction.inthe.fall sort of an affair. Great for Summer listening.
In our continuing efforts to bring you new sounds, we'll be delivering you new mass.mvmnt radio shows every month or so.
